Yotta Data Services, an end-to-end Digital Transformation service provider, has launched Shambho, an accelerator program for Cloud & AI startups to provide them with world-class AI & cloud infrastructure, mentorship, technological support, and more.
Launched with support from Nasscom AI and Telangana AI Mission, Shambho aims to foster innovation in the startup sector and encourage the development of cutting-edge solutions in Cloud, AI, data science, and high-performance computing.
Through this program, the startups identified by Nasscom’s GenAI Foundry will get access to credits up to USD 200,000 for Shakti Cloud, India’s fastest AI-HPC supercomputer.
Yotta will provide regular mentorship sessions specifically designed to meet the needs of startups, along with access to training and technical support throughout their growth.
Additionally, being part of the Yotta ecosystem will offer startups extra business opportunities through networking events and membership in Yotta and Nasscom startup communities for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
“India's tech-startup ecosystem is a pivotal force propelling the nation towards its ambitious $5 trillion economy goal. Anchored by an abundant talent pool and formidable entrepreneurial spirit, our strength is evident. However, the success of GenAI hinges on scalable access to high-performance computing.” said Sunil Gupta, Co-founder & CEO of Yotta Data Services.
“Our objective is to democratize supercomputing and hyperscale cloud access for Indian enterprises and startups, a gap we aim to fill with our cloud platforms. This collaboration with Nasscom reaffirms our dedication to catalyzing India's AI journey towards self-reliance in innovation.”
Furthermore, Sangeeta Gupta, Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at Nasscom, said that the rise of Generative AI presents many opportunities for businesses and startups. To succeed in the AI race, companies need to invest in the right computing infrastructure and find the best ways to engage with stakeholders. She also stated that accelerator programs like Shambho will boost AI innovation in India and encourage startups to create advanced solutions in cloud computing, AI, data science, and high-performance computing.
