Interview Kickstart, a successful startup that helps tech professionals gain valuable skills for their careers, recently secured $10 million in funding from Blume Ventures.
The San Francisco-based company, which was established in 2014, offers engineers the opportunity to learn from employees or alumni of top tech companies.
Co-founder Ryan Valles explained that their offerings also assist engineers in tackling large-scale challenges and performing better in interviews, skills that are highly sought after by Big Tech companies.
With an acceptance rate of only 2-3% at top tech companies, Interview Kickstart aims to bridge this gap.
The startup has helped its learners secure job offers exceeding $250,000, with some even reaching over $1.2 million.

Valles mentioned that their team of 550 Big Tech instructors, including alumni from Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Google, and Netflix, contribute to the community by teaching courses and sharing their expertise.
The program costs $2,500-10,000 and includes live classes, mentoring, and performance evaluations. Over 20,000 professionals have enrolled so far, with more than 2,000 in last year's AI course. Half of the participants aim to apply for new jobs or promotions within a year.
