VivaTech 2025 has unveiled the five finalists competing for its inaugural Innovation of the Year Award, recognising startups with bold, scalable solutions poised to transform industries.

From an AI-powered physics platform to groundbreaking healthcare diagnostics and sustainable energy innovations, these companies represent the cutting edge of global tech entrepreneurship.

The finalists are:

• BeyondMath (UK): The world’s first generative physics platform, enabling engineers to run simulations 1000x faster using AI, drastically cutting design time and costs.
• Chipiron (France): Developing the first lightweight, low-cost MRI using ultra-low magnetic fields, aiming to make MRI scans 100 times more accessible for early disease screening.
• Enerdrape (Switzerland): Offering non-invasive geothermal panels that convert underground urban spaces into renewable heating and cooling sources without drilling.
• Hua Tech International (Taiwan): An automated microfluidic platform combining nanostructured biochips and AI to detect rare circulating cells for precise cancer diagnostics.
• Lumisync (France): Creating the world’s first 100% photonic oscillator to synchronise data centres’ flows at the speed of light, reducing latency and energy consumption by 1000x.
