BINAR Acquires QUTKE to Boost Indonesia’s AI Ecosystem

A key move towards strengthening Indonesia's place in the rapidly evolving artificial intelligence (AI) sector has been made with the finalization of Indonesia-based digital transformation firm BINAR's acquisition of China-built AI platform QUTKE.
The deal, finalized this week, involves the transfer of QUTKE's essential R&D team along with its no-code AI agent builder technology.
With its patented software, QUTKE, familiar for enabling companies to develop advanced AI agents without needing extensive coding expertise, QUTKE is expected to aid Indonesia's AI innovation aspiration.
The acquisition was described as "strategic" to enable BINAR's solutions, spanning verticals such as edtech, enterprise automation, and digital upskilling. BINAR attained popularity by working on digital transformation and education technology projects.
It is expected that the technology and development capabilities of QUTKE would enhance BINAR's AI product lines and accelerate deployment directly into Indonesia's growing digital economy.
Industry observers are convinced that Indonesia's greater ambitions to enhance its AI capabilities and reduce its dependence on foreign technologies are consonant with the acquisition of BINAR.
