Yantra Packs raises Rs 12 Cr in seed funding from Caret Capital

Yantra Packs, a Gurugram-based reusable packaging platform, has raised Rs 12 crore in a seed funding round led by Caret Capital. The company did not disclose the valuation or other terms of the deal.
The round follows a Rs 6 crore pre-seed raise from Impact Infracap in December 2024. The fresh capital will be deployed toward geographic expansion across India, strengthening the company's technology infrastructure, and scaling its pool of reusable packaging assets.
Asset pooling for enterprise supply chains
Founded in 2020 by Vipin Battu and Karan Saharan, Yantra Packs supplies reusable transport packaging, pallets, crates, containers, and other returnable items through rental and asset-pooling models.
Its proprietary platform, Trakkia, provides asset tracking and supply-chain visibility, helping enterprises manage asset lifecycles, improve utilisation rates, and reduce packaging-related costs and losses.

The company reports over 30 enterprise customers, with more than 250,000 containers in active circulation across eight warehouses and over 100 customer touchpoints spanning India's manufacturing clusters.
Why it matters
India's shift toward organised manufacturing and sustainability compliance is creating structural demand for returnable packaging infrastructure. Yantra Packs competes with players including Leap India, Holisol Logistics, Econovus, and Good Pack, a segment that has drawn fresh investor attention recently, with Econovus Packaging raising Rs 40 crore and InfinityBox raising Rs 14.1 crore, both in pre-Series A rounds led by Rainmatter.
For international buyers and logistics partners evaluating the India–Gulf corridor, the emergence of technology-enabled asset-pooling platforms signals that the underlying supply-chain layer is maturing, reducing loss ratios and improving the unit economics of cross-border goods movement in reusable containers.
