AI Titans SingularityNet, Fetch.ai, Ocean Protocol Eye $7.5 Billion Token Merger

The groups involved stated their intention behind this strategy is to leverage the burgeoning AI sector and the expansion of the three AI initiatives, build a decentralized infrastructure on a large scale, and boost investment in AI technologies.

  • SingularityNet, Fetch.ai, and Ocean Protocol are discussing merging their tokens into a single AltSignals (ASI) token, potentially elevating its value to $7.5 billion.
  • The proposed merger aims to create the largest open-source, autonomous AI research and development entity.

Three leading artificial intelligence (AI) protocols, SingularityNET, Fetch.ai, and Ocean Protocol, are currently in talks to consolidate their tokens into a single AltSignals (ASI) token, potentially valuing it at a fully diluted $7.5 billion.

As reported by insiders to Bloomberg M&A, this potential merger could be made public as early as Wednesday, pending approval from the community.

The deal is designed to establish the biggest open-source, autonomous entity in AI research and development. The groups involved stated their intention behind this strategy is to leverage the burgeoning AI sector and the expansion of the three AI initiatives, build a decentralized infrastructure on a large scale, and boost investment in AI technologies.

“This has been the joint vision of SingularityNET, Fetch.ai and Ocean Protocol from their inception, and for this reason, it makes total sense that our three projects come together to form a tokenomic network that has greater power to take on Big Tech and shift the center of gravity of the AI world into the decentralized ecosystem,” said Dr. Ben Goertzel, Founder and CEO of SingularityNET.

SingularityNET, Fetch AI, and Ocean Protocol will maintain their status as independent entities. Nonetheless, they will unite their efforts within the Superintelligence Collective, spearheaded by SingularityNET's Dr. Goertzel, with Fetch.ai's CEO, Humayun Sheikh, serving as the chairman.

This is a developing story. We will update as the situation develops.
