Oro Raises $3M for AI-Powered DeFi Execution Platform

UAE-based financial AI platform Oro has raised $3 million in a strategic funding round co-led by MH Ventures and Mapleblock Capital. The round also saw participation from M2M Capital, Archer Capital, and X21 Digital, with follow-on backing from Disrupt.com and ZIGLabs.

The latest round brings Oro's total funding to $4 million.

What Oro does

Founded in 2024 by Varun Choudhary, Oro lets users state financial goals in plain text and converts those natural-language prompts into multi-step transactions across DeFi protocols. Every execution remains non-custodial and user-signed.

The platform has onboarded over 350,000 active users, supports more than 80 languages, and maintains live mainnet integrations with protocols including Morpho, Kamino, Lido, Aave, Uniswap, and Raydium.

“Over the past 18 months, the Web3 landscape went through a market filter where projects without genuine utility quietly disappeared, but Oro thrived by proving that combining financial infrastructure with natural-language AI creates a product that mass-market users actually want,” said Varun Choudhary, Co-founder and CEO of Oro.

The capital will fund AI and agentic R&D, expansion of engineering and business development teams, regulatory and compliance frameworks, user acquisition, and B2B integrations. The company is targeting 10 million active users and plans native iOS and Android mobile applications over the next 6 to 12 months.
