Nua raises $50M Series C led by Peak XV Partners

Women's wellness brand Nua has raised $50 million in a Series C funding round led by Peak XV Partners. The round made Nua the second-largest growth-stage deal in a week that saw Indian startups collectively raise $356.8 million across 23 deals. Terms of the round were not disclosed.

Nua operates in the women's wellness space. The Bengaluru-based company is part of a broader consumer health segment that continues to draw growth-stage capital as global investors bet on India's rising per-capita health spending.

The deal positions Nua alongside a wave of Indian consumer-health brands attracting Series C and later-stage checks, a signal that the category is moving beyond early validation into scaling economics.

For Gulf and global investors tracking the India corridor, consumer wellness remains one of the few sector-plus-demographic tailwinds that combines steady domestic demand with eventual cross-border brand potential.

Growth-stage startups raised $182 million across six deals this week. Bengaluru-based Popo Global led with $56 million from Artal Asia, while HerSpace Manufacturing secured $40 million from Gray Matters Capital. Quick-food delivery startup Swish raised $24 million led by Bertelsmann India Investments.

Fleet management platform Carrum Mobility raised a $10 million Series B led by Uber, and pet food brand Lickicious secured Rs 19 crore led by Prath Ventures.
