Long Arc Capital’s India GCC expansion is taking shape through a larger Bengaluru office for VeARC India, its Global Capability Centre. The New York-based private equity firm’s India arm has leased nearly 27,000 square feet at The Executive Centre’s Helios Business Park on Bengaluru’s Outer Ring Road.
The new facility includes more than 450 workstations and is designed to accommodate VeARC India’s expanding workforce. The company has not disclosed the lease value, lease term, hiring target or timeline for moving into the larger space.
What the India GCC expansion includes
VeARC India provides technology, engineering and professional support services for Long Arc Capital’s portfolio companies. The larger office is located in one of Bengaluru’s technology corridors, giving the centre access to the city’s talent pool and business ecosystem, according to the source report.
Rituparan Sharma, Managing Director and Country Head of VeARC India, said the larger office reflects continued investment in talent and supports the firm’s long-term growth plans. He also said the workspace is intended to provide a collaborative environment for Long Arc Capital’s portfolio companies.
Why Bengaluru matters to GCC operators
The move comes as global companies continue to use India-based GCCs to centralize technology, engineering and operational functions. The Nasscom-Zinnov India GCC Landscape Report 2026 put India’s GCC market at $98.4 billion in FY26 and said Bengaluru accounted for more than 29 percent of the country’s active GCCs.
For Long Arc Capital, the Bengaluru centre is not described as a standalone back-office operation. Its stated role is to support the firm’s portfolio companies across technology, engineering and professional services. That makes the office’s expansion relevant to how investment firms can use GCCs to provide shared capabilities across their holdings.
What the larger office does not yet tell us
The office lease confirms an expansion of physical capacity, but the source does not establish how many employees VeARC India currently has, how quickly it plans to grow or which portfolio companies will use the centre.
Manish Khedia, Regional Managing Director at The Executive Centre, said the lease expansion strengthens its relationship with VeARC and reflects multinational businesses’ increasing preference for premium, flexible office space in India.
For now, Long Arc Capital’s move points to a specific use of the GCC model: building a Bengaluru-based technology, engineering and professional support platform for portfolio companies. The next evidence of scale will be VeARC India’s hiring, service mix and operating commitments.
