Finvolve First Close: Growth Fund Hits ₹90 Cr of ₹250 Cr Target

Finvolve, the dedicated multi-stage venture capital investment arm of India Accelerator, has achieved the first close of its ₹250 Cr growth-stage fund at ₹90 Cr. The firm expects to reach a final close within the next six months.

The fund intends to build a portfolio of 30 to 35 growth- and late-stage Indian startups over a three- to four-year deployment period. Target sectors are defence and aerospace, frontier and strategic technology, energy, and consumer.

Finvolve operates as a joint venture between India Accelerator and Gift City-based B2B wealth management firm Finolutions. Incorporated in 2022, it positions itself as a multi-thesis, sector-agnostic, and stage-agnostic investor.

Across its four active funds, the firm manages an accelerator fund, a seed fund, and two Category II AIFs, including this growth vehicle and has committed over ₹500 Cr of capital across more than 40 startup investments to date.

Corridor lens: scaling the hard-tech capital stack

For international limited partners and strategic buyers tracking India’s defence-industrial and energy transition pipelines, a dedicated domestic growth cheque fills a persistent gap.

Finvolve’s existing portfolio of companies spanning anti-drone systems, satellite infrastructure, frontier AI research, and electric mobility signals a focus on hard-tech assets that are approaching IPO readiness.

“From a capital perspective, we see a compelling opportunity to participate in companies that have already crossed the early-risk phase and are now entering their next stage of value creation,” said Finvolve co-founder Apoorva Vora.

A disciplined, sector-concentrated late-stage thesis offers a defined on-ramp for global capital looking at the India–Gulf corridor without taking early-stage technology risk.
