Genie Health Raises US$3M Seed Round Led by Nadathur Family Office

Genie Health, a Singapore-based startup building a two-sided health intelligence platform, has raised US$3 million in seed funding.
The round was led by the Nadathur Family Office, with participation from Liminal, a Founders' Studio backed by Temasek, and two healthcare leaders.
Anand Nadathur, Principal of the Nadathur Family Office, will join the company's board. Newzchain has also covered how Indian family offices are eyeing Southeast Asia's startups.
The company turns fragmented health information into useful intelligence through two products: Genie, a personal health app that provides members with personalised insights and guidance, and Genie SmartCare, a clinic intelligence platform that uses agentic AI for patient engagement and holistic insights for healthcare providers.
The new funding will deepen the platform's AI capabilities, accelerate Genie SmartCare's adoption among clinics, and grow the team's product, engineering and healthcare expertise in Singapore.

One in three Singapore residents deals with at least one chronic condition, and health information remains fragmented across health reports, wearables, apps and healthcare providers.
The Genie app brings this information together in a secure Health Locker, then surfaces personalised insights and patterns to help members understand their health better and guides them on what to do next.
Genie SmartCare uses agentic AI to engage patients around the clock and handle appointment and follow-up bookings, while combining longitudinal health records and wearable data to give care teams a richer understanding of each patient.
“This funding will enable us to scale both the Genie app and SmartCare faster, while deepening our platform capabilities to build out our vision of a two-sided health intelligence platform,” Hari V. Krishnan, co-founder and CEO of Genie Health, said.
Krishnan co-founded the company with Maya Hari and Sandeep Suvarna. He previously served as CEO and managing director of PropertyGuru Group, where he led its NYSE listing and subsequent US$1.1 billion sale to EQT.
Maya Hari was the former CEO of Terrascope and previously led Twitter’s business in the region, and Sandeep Suvarna headed international marketing at Twitch and Asia-Pacific marketing at LinkedIn.
