Amagi Q2 FY27 results: net profit Rs 74.8 crore, revenue Rs 475.8 crore
5 crore it earned in the same quarter a year ago.

Amagi Media Labs reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 74.8 crore for the September quarter (Q2 FY27), nearly 30 times the Rs 2.5 crore it earned in the same quarter a year ago.
Revenue from operations rose 27% year on year to a record Rs 475.8 crore, from Rs 374.8 crore. Total income, which includes other income, stood at Rs 501.9 crore, against Rs 389.6 crore a year earlier.
Adjusted EBITDA rose 114% to Rs 89.1 crore, with the margin widening 7.6 percentage points to 18.7%, the company said. For the first half of FY27, revenue grew about 30% to Rs 912.7 crore and net profit reached Rs 108.7 crore.
Amagi said its indirect operating expenses grew only 7% while revenue grew 27%. The effective tax rate dropped to 9.4% from 50% as the Indian business turned profitable and began setting off carried-forward losses.
The company cautioned that Q2 margins benefited from the timing of some planned senior hires, whose costs will now be incurred in later quarters. It said the first-half adjusted EBITDA margin of 15.3% is “a more representative near-term baseline” for its profitability.
Amagi, based in Bengaluru, sells cloud software that lets TV networks and streaming companies launch, manage, distribute and earn advertising revenue from live, linear and on-demand content. It works across cable, OTT and FAST (free ad-supported streaming TV) platforms, without needing to own traditional broadcast infrastructure.
The September 2025 quarter included revenue from a large broadcaster migration. Excluding this, Amagi said revenue would have grown 33%. On a constant currency basis, reported growth was 15%.
”Q2 marked new highs for revenue, Adjusted EBITDA and PAT,” said Baskar Subramanian, co-founder, MD and CEO of Amagi.
