Zaperon raises Rs 7 Cr seed round from Inflection Point Ventures

Cybersecurity startup Zaperon has raised Rs 7 crore in a seed funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV).

What Zaperon does

Co-founded in 2021 by Vineet Gupta and Sachin Aggarwal, Delhi-based Zaperon offers a platform-centric approach to enterprise security.

Organisations can secure their entire IT landscape through a single Zaperon console, bringing together identity security, data security, and AI governance under consistent, identity and context-aware policies.

The platform enables enterprises to control how users, applications, and AI agents access and interact with sensitive data and cloud infrastructure. Its enterprise client base spans banking and financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, technology, and government sectors.

Why it matters

Identity security and data security represent an estimated $16 billion global opportunity today, projected to reach $35 billion by 2030.

Indian cybersecurity startups raised $89 million across 17 rounds in the first half of 2026, nearly double the $47 million raised in the same period in 2025.

The fresh capital will be used to advance product capabilities, launch enterprise-grade AI security frameworks, and expand Zaperon’s presence in India and the US.
