Wealthtech Platform InvestorAi Secures Rs 80 Crore in Series A Funding

Founded in 2018, the company now plans to use the funding for scaling the business and adding new products.

  • InvestorAi secures Rs 80 crore Series A funding for AI-powered stock recommendations.
  • The platform offers retail investors access to advanced AI investment strategies previously used by major hedge funds.
  • InvestorAi's products integrated with leading brokers, including HDFC Securities and Axis Securities, expanding market reach.

InvestorAi, an AI-powered equity investment platform, has raised Rs 80 crore in a Series A round from prominent investor Ashish Kacholia, Founder of Lucky Investment Managers, and his associates. Positron, a Mumbai-based consulting and capital advisory firm, acted as the exclusive advisor for the transaction.

Founded in 2018, the company now plans to use the funding for scaling the business and adding new products.

“India’s retail investor base is currently around 150 million and growing at 3 million a month. The Indian stock market is expected to reach $10 trillion by 2030 from the current $4.8 trillion market cap. However, only 7% of households' income is invested in direct equities. This presents a large untapped market opportunity which can be leveraged by the use of AI-led equity financing guidance,” said Bruce Keith, Co-founder and CEO, InvestorAi.

InvestorAi focuses on using AI technology to deliver successful investment outcomes for GenZ, Millennials, and digital investors. The platform’s AI-driven products generate stock recommendations for the Indian market, packaged into user-friendly, one-click investment solutions. Also, the company uses advanced techniques like computer vision and genetic algorithms to improve prediction accuracy and create investment-ready equity baskets.

Akshaya Bhargava, Chairman and Co-Founder of InvestorAi, noted that advanced AI technology, once reserved for major hedge funds like Renaissance and Citadel, is now available to retail investors through InvestorAi. He also highlighted the company's three-year history of consistently outperforming the index and delivering strong investment returns.

Additionally, it's products are available through some of the most respected names in the broking industry, including HDFC Securities, Geojit, PL, JM Financial Services, Yes Securities, IIFL Securities, 5Paisa, and Axis Securities.
