US Stock Trading on Kite: Zerodha Opens Beta Access

Zerodha has launched US stock trading on Kite in beta, allowing resident Indian investors with individual accounts to buy up to 2,000 US-listed stocks and around 1,000 ETFs through their existing accounts. The service is available on Kite Web for now, with access set to go live soon, and does not require a separate demat account.

How US stock trading on Kite works

Kite lets users activate the Global Stocks segment, transfer funds from a linked Indian bank account to a USD wallet and place delivery-based trades in eligible US stocks and ETFs. Zerodha routes these investments through BSE’s India INX Global Access at GIFT City IFSC. Intraday and margin trading are not available, while same-day buy and sell trades are permitted.
