Ultrahuman’s UAE Biological-Age Model Partnership

The move
Ultrahuman has signed a two-year memorandum of understanding with the Abu Dhabi Public Health Center to develop and validate a biological-age model for eventual use across the United Arab Emirates. The Bengaluru-based startup announced the partnership on October 12, 2026.
The model will combine clinical biomarkers with data from wearable devices to estimate how quickly an individual is aging. It will examine factors including sleep, activity, cardiovascular health, and metabolism.
Ultrahuman and the Abu Dhabi Public Health Center will spend the next two years on research and clinical validation. The broader rollout will happen in phases, but the company did not provide a timeline.
What Ultrahuman’s UAE biological-age model will do
Ultrahuman is a health tech startup best known for its smart rings. Its ring is a way to acquire data from the human body that the company uses to build health algorithms spanning aging, longevity, and other areas of health.

The biological-age model is being designed to work with rings, wrist-worn devices, straps, and patches, alongside clinical biomarkers. People will eventually be able to access their health age through government digital-health platforms including TAMM and Sahatna.
The model is intended for a broader population than Ultrahuman’s existing customer base, whose typical users are between 25 and 43 years old.
Ultrahuman says it will deploy an algorithm on UAE data and will not have access to personally identifiable information through the program. The company has sold around 800,000 smart rings globally, and the UAE is among its 10 largest markets, accounting for about 4% to 5% of overall revenue.
The company’s position
CEO Mohit Kumar described the ring as a way to acquire data, while emphasizing the company’s interest in what it can do with that data: “But truly, what we care about is not just the form factor, the ring, but what do we do with this data?”
