The negotiations for Tesla's first manufacturing unit in India are in the final stage and are expected to be concluded soon. As reported by Ahmedabad Mirror, the announcement of Tesla's manufacturing unit in Gujarat is anticipated to be made during the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Summit next month.
During a recent Cabinet briefing, Gujarat Health Minister Rushikesh Patel expressed optimism about Elon Musk's investment in Gujarat. He emphasized the state's awareness and alignment with Tesla's overall objectives, drawing a parallel during his address. Patel highlighted that the government is currently engaged in discussions with the electric vehicle manufacturer to finalize the agreement to set up the Gujarat production facility.
The Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit was first planned in 2003. The upcoming tenth edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Summit will commemorate "20 years of Vibrant Gujarat as the Summit of Success".
