Deepinder Goyal's Temple opens waitlist, with applicants seeing a Rs 85,000 price

Temple’s waitlist has opened for early access to the brain-monitoring wearable, with applicants saying the device is shown at Rs 85,000, The Economic Times reported. Pre-orders will open on November 1.

Temple waitlist and the company behind it

Temple is Deepinder Goyal’s head-worn wearable venture, built to track blood flow and oxygenation inside the brain. Goyal is the Zomato founder and vice chairman of Eternal, and stepped down as Eternal’s CEO in February.

Interested users must apply through Temple’s official website and share details about themselves, their work and what they expect from the device. Goyal has said the company will personally select people who can provide meaningful feedback, making the waitlist part of a limited early-access process rather than a general release.

The price visible to applicants is higher than the Rs 75,000-80,000 range ET reported in July. ET reported then that the price would include a lifetime subscription to Temple’s health platform and a lifetime supply of medically approved adhesive tapes used to wear the device.

Temple will be hand-made to order and delivered within three months of purchase, Goyal said earlier this week. The limited launch edition is expected to ship before the end of 2026, giving the venture a defined production and delivery model for its first users.
