Tanglin Venture leads Rs 16.1 Cr seed in AI debt platform Credfix

AI-first debt resolution platform Credfix has raised Rs 16.1 crore in a seed funding round led by Tanglin Venture Partners, with participation from Stargazer.

Before this round, Credfix had raised Rs 4.5 crore from K2 Capital, Invstt Trust, and a group of angel investors. Credfix said the fresh capital will be used to accelerate product development, strengthen its AI capabilities, and expand its borrower support network across India.

Founded in 2025 by Ranjan Agarwal, Neeraj Kulkarni, and Ayush Kedia, Credfix helps borrowers understand their debt, assess repayment options, and navigate interactions with lenders. Its offerings include debt assessment, loan resolution, loan consolidation, and AI-powered legal assistance.

The platform has three AI-led solutions. Risi is an AI financial assistant that helps borrowers understand their debt and explore resolution options. Neytra is an AI call shield that assists with recovery-related calls. Its AI legal assistant helps borrowers understand legal notices, prepare draft responses for their review, and identify possible next steps.

Credfix claims to currently serve more than 2 lakh borrowers representing over Rs 4,000 crore in aggregate outstanding debt. Around 40% of its users are from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.

The debt resolution and collections segment has seen growing technology adoption in India. FREED raised Rs 60 crore in February 2026 in a round led by Aavishkaar Capital. Credgenics has raised $50 million, while CredResolve raised a pre-Series A round led by Merak Ventures in April 2026.
