Takahouse Raises $1.5M from Impact46 to Expand Mobile Game Portfolio

Saudi gaming startup Takahouse has raised $1.5 million in funding from Riyadh-based venture capital firm Impact46.
The capital gives the company room to develop new products and widen a mobile game portfolio that currently depends on a single title.
What Takahouse does
Founded in 2018 by Salman S Nasser, Takahouse builds and publishes mobile games centred on social interaction between players.
Its first title, WhistGame, launched in 2021 and has attracted more than 140,000 users, giving the startup a substantial base from which to study engagement, retention, and player behaviour.
The company’s strategy remains focused on blending entertainment with communication, a model it expects to carry into future releases.

Why it matters
The funding adds another Saudi-developed gaming company to the growing flow of capital around the country’s gaming and digital entertainment sector.
For a global buyer or partner looking at the Gulf corridor, Takahouse represents a studio that validated a socially driven game with a real audience and is now using those learnings to de-risk a multi-title strategy.
Rather than treating WhistGame as a one-off, the company is treating 140,000 players as a data foundation, making the transition from single-product studio to portfolio developer easier to underwrite.
What the money will do
The investment from Impact46 will support development of new titles and improvements to existing capabilities, with the broader objective of moving the business beyond reliance on a single game.
Takahouse has not disclosed a post-money valuation or the specific terms of the deal.
