TailBlaze Longevity raises $300K pre-seed funding

Ahmedabad-based TailBlaze Longevity has raised $300K in a pre-seed funding round led by US-based VC firm Comma Capital.
The fresh capital will be used to launch HeartPour, build a team in Ahmedabad, and expand the startup’s reach among pet parents across India.
What TailBlaze does
Founded in August last year by Manaal Maniyar and Palak Devpura, TailBlaze Longevity is a pet care startup focused on canine longevity and nutrition.
The startup aims to extend dogs’ lives by 3–5 years through high-protein and lower-carbohydrate nutritional formulations.
HeartPour is a wet dog food line developed over four years of R&D. The product combines high protein and superfoods with an Ayurvedic PanchTatva blend comprising curcumin, black pepper, parsley, amla and tulsi.
The company has also developed FreshTail, a proprietary technology for manufacturing shelf-stable fresh meals.
Its portfolio includes more than 200 products across organic dog food, natural treats such as coconut and hemp or fish and strawberry, grooming essentials, and accessories.
