Concordance Innovations, a subsidiary of Concordance Healthcare Solutions, has recently announced that they are collaborating with the Mayo Clinic to integrate their cloud-based digital platform called Surgence into the Mayo Clinic's digital supply chain. And the primary idea behind this collaboration is to enhance the Surgence platform.

Commenting on the collaboration, Lisa Hohman, CEO of Concordance Healthcare Solutions, said she is very proud to work with Mayo Clinic to create a successful environment using flexible software and expert knowledge.

Launched in July 2023, Surgence connects various trading partners' supply chains on a secure, neutral, cloud-based platform. It also allows for flexible data connections, offering near real-time upstream and downstream visibility.

Additionally, the platform includes features like order management and predictive forecasting, and incorporates alerts and workflows directly into applications. These features help integrate insights with actions, simplifying decision processes and addressing previously unmet needs in organizations.

“Utilizing the expertise of the Mayo Clinic supply chain coupled with the power of Surgence, we are able to transform massive amounts of disparate data into actionable information and alerts to continue our journey of an agnostic, industry-wide, near real-time digital ecosystem,” said Hohman.

The Concordance chief also mentioned that together they aim to use data and analytics to enhance the healthcare supply chain and ultimately better patient care.

The healthcare supply chain management market is currently on a growth trajectory, fueled by the need for efficiency, cost savings, and better patient results in healthcare. In fact, the marketing is projected to reach $8.8 billion by the end of 2034 at a CAGR of 11.9%.
