STPI Incubation Facility Opens in Dehradun for Startups
STPI opened a new incubation facility in Dehradun on October 23, 2026, to support Uttarakhand’s technology and startup ecosystem.
The four-storey facility is located at the IT Park on Sahastradhara Road and spans approximately 30,000 square feet. I
t includes semi-furnished office spaces, high-speed internet connectivity, air-conditioned and eco-friendly workspaces, an auditorium, two meeting rooms, two conference rooms and a network operations centre.

The facility is intended to support IT and IT-enabled Services sectors, technology-based entrepreneurship, innovation, product development and job creation.
The announcement also refers to ongoing efforts to promote electronics manufacturing, including an Electronics Manufacturing Cluster in Kashipur.
Uttarakhand has over 1,700 recognised startups. The initiative is connected to the state’s IT, IT-enabled services, and electronics manufacturing sectors.
