Spill Games raises $10.5 Mn Series A led by Elevation Capital

Mobile gaming studio Spill Games has raised $10.5 Mn (about ₹100 Cr) in a Series A funding round led by Elevation Capital. Existing investors Centre Court Capital and PeerCapital also participated in the round.

The Bengaluru-based startup builds free-to-play casual, puzzle, and hybrid-casual mobile games for global audiences. It operates a portfolio-driven studio model, supported by its in-house Compass engine.

This engine brings together tools for analytics, player retention, monetisation, and live operations, letting the studio reuse infrastructure across titles and shorten the time taken to develop and test new concepts.

Spill Games is targeting development speeds roughly 4X those of traditional approaches. Spill launches games quickly to test initial assumptions, then uses player feedback and in-game data to refine them.

Titles that show potential to scale globally receive more resources. Its portfolio comprises six games, including Cozy Finds, Sticker by Number, Zen Math Crossword, Bird Rescue Jam, and Grill Master.

The startup monetises through advertising and in-app purchases.

The company will use the fresh capital to scale its existing games, expand its development pipeline, strengthen the Compass engine's AI and technology capabilities, acquire users, and selectively grow its team.

The round follows a $3.1 Mn seed raise in April. Spill Games was founded in 2024 by Om Misra, Tapan Ranjan, and Harsh Garg.
