Mohalla Tech, which operates ShareChat, Moj and QuickTV, reported a 40% rise in FY26 revenue to Rs 1,016 crore, up from Rs 723 crore in FY25. The company attributed the growth to its diversification into micro-dramas, which it monetises through both advertising and subscriptions.

Micro-dramas added a third major revenue stream alongside its existing advertising and live-streaming businesses. Subscription revenue, driven by the QuickTV app and Moj+, contributed Rs 293 crore in its first full year.

Mohalla Tech also said EBITDA losses narrowed by 58% to Rs 91 crore in FY26, from Rs 219 crore a year earlier. By the end of the first half of FY27 it had recorded positive cash flows for four consecutive quarters and positive EBITDA for two consecutive quarters. It expects to close FY27 with its first full-year EBITDA profit, of nearly Rs 25 crore.

Mohalla Tech is a homegrown social media company. The company said annual recurring revenue reached Rs 1,500 crore in the first half of FY27.

Advertising has also gained momentum. Ad revenue grew 40% year-on-year in Q2 FY27, and the company said free-to-watch, ad-supported micro-dramas have widened its advertiser base across ShareChat and Moj. It said daily micro-drama consumption grew 6.5-fold over 12 months, crossing 1 billion units a day.

”After a few years of strategic discipline, we have turned the corner in our path to profitability. A year ago, we had achieved the mission of building a sustainable core business and were shifting gears to accelerate growth. Now, we are EBITDA positive, generating cash, and funding the next phase of growth entirely from our own cash flows,” said Ankush Sachdeva, Co-founder and CEO, Mohalla Tech.
