Scrubsy raises $3M seed funding from V3 Ventures for D2C cleaning brand

Scrubsy, a direct-to-consumer home cleaning brand, has raised nearly $3 million (Rs 27 crore) in seed funding. The round was led by V3 Ventures. Specific terms or a valuation for the deal were not disclosed.
What the company does
Founded in 2025 by Kartik Sibal, Ishan Suri, Nitin Jain, and Aditya Bhasin, Scrubsy produces foam-based cleaning products for kitchens, bathrooms, and footwear.
The Gurugram-based startup, which operates as BoldChem Science Pvt Ltd, sells through its own D2C website and major online marketplaces. The company says it added over 500,000 customers within eight months of launch and has recorded 100% year-on-year growth.

Why it matters
India's home care market is shifting from unbranded commodity products to designed, D2C-first brands, a pattern that has already produced large outcomes in personal care and food.
Scrubsy's early traction—half a million customers in under a year—suggests the same playbook can work in household cleaning, a category with substantial repeat-purchase dynamics and export potential along the India–Gulf corridor.
The company's stated target of Rs 100 crore in annualised revenue by FY28 signals an execution timeline that global distributors and strategic buyers can triangulate.
"This capital will enable us to accelerate product innovation, expand our manufacturing capabilities, and reach many more households in India with Scrubsy," said Kartik Sibal, Co-founder and CEO.
