Scooter raises Rs 1.5 Cr in pre-seed round for sales hiring platform

Pune-based sales hiring startup Scooter has raised Rs 1.5 crore in a pre-seed round led by Aviral Bhatnagar’s AJVC.

The proceeds will be used for its product and to simplify the sales hiring process for candidates and hiring managers.

Founded in 2024 by Kartik Mandrekar and Saumya Seth, Scooter helps startups hire sales professionals by assessing candidates on real sales scenarios instead of relying primarily on CVs. The platform sources verified sales professionals, assesses them through real sales scenarios and provides hiring managers with a shortlist of three to five candidates. Managers can review short video clips from assessments before viewing a candidate’s CV. One customer has made a sales hire through Scooter in six days.
