Runable Raises $21M Series A for AI Growth Platform

Runable, a Bengaluru-based AI startup, has raised $21 million in an all-equity Series A round co-led by Susquehanna Venture Capital and Nexus Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors Together Fund and Array VC.
The round valued the company at $65 million post-investment, according to co-founder and CEO Umesh Kumar.
Founded in 2025 by Kumar and co-founder Saksham Sarda, Runable originally built browser-based AI infrastructure before pivoting after users began requesting help creating websites and presentations. Its AI agent now lets users build websites and apps through natural language prompts while handling deployment and analytics.

Kumar said Runable is expanding beyond building tools into “growth” services, including running ad campaigns, managing social media, and optimizing visibility across AI chatbots. The company aims to help small business owners acquire customers without assembling separate tools themselves.
Runable has grown to 1.7 million registered users, with the U.S., U.K., and Japan as key markets. The company currently operates at negative gross margins due to subsidized AI usage, though Kumar expects falling inference costs to improve economics.
It competes against agents from Anthropic and OpenAI, as well as coding platforms like Cursor and Replit, and is positioning itself around outcomes for nontechnical small business owners rather than software development itself.
