R for Rabbit crossed ₹250 Cr in FY25
R for Rabbit crossed ₹250 Cr in revenue in FY25, growing from three baby-gear products in 2014 to more than 450 SKUs across baby gear, diapers, personal care, apparel and toys. In 2026, its offline reach crossed 3,000 retail touchpoints, while the company partnered with Shadowfax to strengthen same-day and next-day delivery.
The business raised its first institutional round in October 2021 and raised $27 Mn in Series B funding in August 2025, led by Filter Capital and 3one4 Capital.
The founders and the company
Ahmedabad-based Kunal and Kinjal Popat began looking for safer baby products after becoming parents in 2011. They wanted products that combined safety, thoughtful design and transparent pricing, and decided to build what they could not find.
Kunal brought more than a decade of experience across engineering, marketing and sales. Kinjal was trained in design. The couple started R for Rabbit in 2014 with around ₹40 Lakh of their own savings, designing products in-house and working with established, safety-certified manufacturers.
The company began with strollers and expanded into car seats, apparel, personal care, feeding ranges and ride-on toys. It entered toys with Orapple Toys in 2020, launched Feather Diapers in 2022, added the Biomimic baby skin care range and entered apparel with its first clothing line.

In the founders’ words
Kinjal said, “I used to visit factories before finalising any partnerships to ensure quality control, testing and certification standards remain as we want for the brand.”
Kunal described the company’s product framework this way: “We built everything around four pillars: safety, quality, innovation and customer support. For us, the highest quality and international standards are the floor, rather than the ceiling.”
On the Shadowfax partnership, Kunal said, “We wanted to build a logistics network that could keep pace with our growth and get products to customers faster.”
From growth to a more complex fulfilment model
Diapers emerged as one of the company’s fastest-growing categories, giving the business a more consistent revenue stream. The company’s products also spread through word of mouth, with mothers recommending them through WhatsApp groups and personal networks.
R for Rabbit moved from a single warehouse to a regional third-party logistics model, bringing inventory closer to customers across different markets. The company partnered with Shadowfax in 2026 to strengthen its last-mile network and offer same-day and next-day deliveries.
