Prodoc AI raises seed funding from Dr A. Velumani Family Office

Bengaluru-based healthcare AI company Prodoc AI has raised an undisclosed amount in a seed funding round led by Dr A. Velumani Family Office.

The round also saw participation from Dr Kunal Shet and Parth D. Bhasin, who are existing users of the company’s platform.

Prodoc AI is developing an intelligence layer for hospitals to connect multiple systems used across departments, including hospital information systems, electronic medical records, customer relationship management, billing, telephony and diagnostics. Its Patient Journey OS is designed to coordinate patient-related workflows across these systems without requiring hospitals to replace their existing infrastructure.

The platform covers patient acquisition, appointment conversion, outpatient department intelligence, care coordination, follow-ups, partner and referral management, Voice AI and other hospital operations. Prodoc AI currently operates across more than 100 hospitals, processes over one million patient engagements each month and supports more than 50 software integrations.

The company is led by Co-Founder and CEO Asit Kumar Vidyarthi and Co-Founder and COO Raghuvamshi Thakur. Its leadership and advisory network also includes healthcare industry executives such as Dr A. Velumani, former HCG CEO Raj Gore and former Columbia Asia Group CEO Dr Nandakumar Jairam.

The company plans to use the new capital to develop its Agentic AI capabilities, expand system integrations and build AI agents for hospital workflows covering care coordination, patient engagement, operations and revenue processes.

Dr A. Velumani said the healthcare sector faces challenges in converting patient leads into revenue because of fragmented processes and that AI-based systems could help healthcare providers improve this conversion process.

Vidyarthi said Prodoc AI is focused on connecting patient interactions across different hospital systems so that hospitals can use the available information to coordinate actions across the patient journey.

The company said its long-term objective is to develop an intelligence layer spanning the patient journey, connecting clinical, operational and patient engagement workflows across existing hospital infrastructure.
