Peppermint Robotics Raises Rs 100 Cr in Pre-Series B

Pune-based Peppermint Robotics has raised Rs 100 crore (around $10.5 million) in a Pre-Series B round led by pi Ventures and Crane Venture Partners. Asiana Fund also participated.

The round combines primary capital and secondary share transactions.

Peppermint, founded in 2019, builds autonomous robots that clean commercial floors and move materials. Its robots are used in factories, hospitals, airports, malls, warehouses, hotels and universities, and in pharmaceutical cleanrooms, where they have passed qualification testing in an EU GMP Grade cleanroom.

The company develops its hardware, software and perception systems in-house. Its robots use computer vision and LiDAR to map environments, plan cleaning routes and avoid obstacles, and it also offers offline robots for security-sensitive settings.

Peppermint operates in nine countries, and the US is its largest market. Its revenue grew nearly sixfold between FY24 and FY26, after doubling the previous year, according to the company.

The primary capital will go into five areas: research and engineering, manufacturing expansion, North American operations, global market expansion, and hiring senior leadership and engineering talent. The company also plans to set up an assembly line in North America in the coming months.

Peppermint also plans to widen its range of floor-cleaning and material-handling robots and advance its next-generation cleanroom line.

Peppermint previously raised Rs 34 crore (around $4 million) in a Series A round in April 2025.
