Paar Autonomy raises Rs 10 crore led by AdvantEdge Founders

Bengaluru-based Paar Autonomy has raised Rs 10 crore in a funding round led by AdvantEdge Founders.

The company had earlier raised Rs 3.5 crore in a pre-seed round led by Venture Catalysts. That money went toward setting up its first manufacturing line and delivering pilot units.

The fresh capital will be used to scale up production of AI-powered camera systems and to develop technology that lets drones navigate without GPS, according to a press release from Paar Autonomy.

Founded in June 2024 by Vignesh Sivaram Jayaraman, Paar Autonomy builds camera systems and AI software for drones and other unmanned defence platforms.

Its products focus on the perception layer for unmanned aerial, ground and maritime vehicles, including drones, rovers and boats.

The company's capabilities include edge-based AI, GPS and GNSS-independent visual-inertial navigation, and gyro-stabilised, multi-sensor gimbal camera payloads.

Paar Autonomy primarily serves defence uses such as border surveillance and tactical tracking. It also serves civilian uses including industrial inspection, infrastructure monitoring and disaster response.

Its technology is designed to support operations in GPS-denied and communication-contested environments.

Paar Autonomy also uses AI models to enable real-time environmental interpretation, situational awareness and target tracking for autonomous operations.

In the defence and robotics segment, Aeron Systems raised $4.7 million in a pre-Series B round in September 2026, and Yaanendriya raised Rs 15 crore from Piper Serica in July 2026.

General Autonomy also raised $3.8 million from Elevation Capital and India Quotient in 2026, and Raphe mPhibr raised $100 million in a funding round led by General Catalyst in June 2025.
