Oxagon Data Centre: Humain and DataVolt Start 100MW Phase

Construction has begun on the first phase of the Oxagon data centre, a 360MW project in Saudi Arabia’s Neom industrial region. Humain, the kingdom’s Public Investment Fund-owned artificial intelligence company, is developing the project with DataVolt.
The first phase is designed to provide 100 megawatts and is slated to be ready in 2028. The facility is in the northwest of Saudi Arabia and is expected to support large-scale artificial intelligence and cloud workloads.
What is planned for the Oxagon data centre?
Humain said the facility is expected to integrate renewable energy sources, new cooling technologies and high-performance computing clusters. The source does not specify the renewable energy mix, cooling systems or computing hardware planned for the site.
