NKN Media Expansion Beyond UAE: AED 15M Deal

NKN Media’s expansion beyond the UAE follows an AED 15 million investment from entrepreneur Dhiraj Jain, who acquired a 5% stake in the UAE-headquartered media and television distribution company. The deal values NKN Media at AED 300 million.

The investment supports the company’s expansion beyond the UAE and its evolution into a diversified media company focused on original intellectual properties and strategic media partnerships.

What NKN Media does

NKN Media is a media and television distribution company developing original entertainment formats, international events and media partnerships. The company has a presence across the UAE, UK, Singapore, Malaysia, Canada, Bahrain, India and Sri Lanka, and partners with broadcast networks including Republic TV, Aaj Tak, India Today and Times Now.

The company’s stated ambition

“Our ambition is to build NKN Media into a global media company originating from the UAE, with a strong portfolio of original properties,” said Majid Abdul Khan, CEO & Managing Director, NKN Media.

Jain’s investment also connects him to Falcons of Majlis, where he is associated with the project alongside entrepreneurs, investors and personalities from business and entertainment.
