Naturis Cosmetics has raised Rs 100 crore in its first institutional funding round, led by Sharrp Ventures, with participation from Mirabilis Investment Trust — the family office of Infosys co-founder K. Dinesh — along with Anicut Capital, Niveshaay, Hyperscale Ventures founder Suyash Saraf, Yogesh Kabra, and a group of pharmaceutical and specialty chemicals angel investors.
The R&D-driven contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO) develops and produces beauty and personal care products for more than 50 brands, including Nykaa, Pilgrim, Purplle, Colorbar, Bare Anatomy, Kay Beauty, and Asaya. Beyond beauty, Naturis also works with pharmaceutical companies such as Glenmark and Dr. Reddy's Laboratories in the OTC and cosmeceuticals segment.
The new capital will fund a manufacturing facility in Vapi, an experience centre in the National Capital Region, and an R&D hub in Mumbai, alongside a push into additional beauty, personal care, and OTC product categories.
Naturis has grown profitably. In FY25, operating revenue rose roughly 40% to Rs 154 crore, up from Rs 110 crore the previous fiscal, with a profit of Rs 12 crore. The company reports a revenue CAGR above 50% over the last four years, against the backdrop of a beauty and personal care market where both legacy brands and D2C newcomers are driving capacity expansion and innovation demand across the manufacturing layer.
For international buyers and partners watching India's contract manufacturing landscape, Naturis represents a scaled, multi-category platform with compliance depth — the OTC and cosmeceuticals relationships signal a facility-grade quality bar that's still uncommon. Its client list already spans the country's top digital-first brands, and the Vapi expansion points to capacity being built ahead of demand rather than chasing it.
