My Syria Super App: What 121 Living Is Building in Syria

My Syria super app has launched in Syria, bringing tourism, hospitality, lifestyle services and digital payments into one platform. The app was developed by UAE-based startup 121 Living, founded by Syrian entrepreneurs Rami Kaiem, Feras Kaiem, Waseem Qudmani and Kinan Madi.
The initiative was launched with the strategic support and supervision of Syria’s Ministry of Tourism, under the patronage and in the presence of Minister of Tourism Mazen Al-Salhani. 121 Living describes My Syria as Syria’s first integrated tourism and lifestyle super app.
What the My Syria super app offers
My Syria currently integrates eight services. These include hotel bookings, restaurants, transportation, tourist attractions, experiences and food delivery, alongside a growing range of lifestyle services.
The platform is designed for both travellers and residents. It provides a single digital gateway to discover, book and access services across Syria, rather than requiring users to manage each service separately.
121 Living plans to expand the platform to more than 40 verified tourism and hospitality providers across Syria. Additional services and broader geographic coverage are planned for future phases.
Why cross-border payments are central to the platform
The payment layer is a key part of My Syria’s proposition. The company says the platform is the first in Syria to support cross-border digital payments through Apple Pay, Google Pay, Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
For international visitors, this allows bookings and payments through familiar global payment methods within a single application. For participating businesses, the platform is intended to help reach a broader customer base and participate more effectively in Syria’s digital economy.

A public-private digital tourism project
My Syria is positioned as the first phase of 121 Living’s broader digital platform vision. The company aims to simplify travel, tourism and lifestyle services while expanding its service offering and coverage across Syria.
The Ministry of Tourism has framed the project as part of a wider digital transformation roadmap focused on private-sector participation, innovation, investment and competitiveness.
Al-Salhani said: “Digital transformation is one of the Ministry's strategic priorities because it enables us to build a more competitive, connected and investment-ready tourism sector.”
The launch comes as Syria’s tourism sector records reported growth. Visitor arrivals increased by 111% during the first half of 2026 to 3.52 million, compared with 1.67 million during the same period in 2025. The figures include Syrian expatriates, regional visitors and international tourists.
That growth creates a clear operating test for the app: whether My Syria can turn a fragmented set of tourism and lifestyle services into a reliable digital experience for visitors, residents and providers.
Its next phase will depend on the rollout of additional services, the expansion beyond the current eight offerings and the onboarding of more verified businesses.
