Microsoft has officially launched its global AI tour in Dubai, signalling a bold step toward showcasing the transformative power of artificial intelligence in the UAE and beyond.
At a high-profile event in Dubai, Microsoft executives demonstrated innovative AI solutions designed to revolutionize industries ranging from finance and healthcare to manufacturing and smart city initiatives.
“The UAE’s swift embrace of AI is setting an ambitious benchmark,” explained Naim Yazbeck, general manager of Microsoft UAE.
“Across sectors like education, finance, energy, and retail, the innovations emerging here showcase the transformative power of AI in unlocking unparalleled opportunities for growth and progress.”
He added that they are honoured to partner with forward-thinking organisations in the UAE, which could drive transformation in this new AI era. This could empower them to shape a future characterised by innovation and resilience.
The event follows significant investments by Microsoft in the UAE’s digital economy. In September 2024, Microsoft had partnered with G42 to co-fund both the Centre for Responsible AI and the AI for Good Lab.
At around the same time, the tech giant also launched an expanded Microsoft Engineering Centre, aiming to attract developers to the UAE and meet the country’s rising demand for advanced technologies.
