The company also pointed to the festive season. "This momentum extended into the festive season, with NMV growing 33% year-on-year on a festive-aligned basis, reinforcing our conviction in the depth of India's e-commerce opportunity," said Vidit Aatrey, cofounder and CEO of Meesho.
Looking ahead, Meesho said in its shareholders' letter that year-on-year growth in the December quarter should look stronger than the underlying trend because of a shift in the timing of its festive sale. It added that it remains watchful of macroeconomic pressures.
