Lumio raises $12 million Series A led by Blume Ventures

Consumer electronics brand Lumio, operated by Circuit House Technologies, has raised $12 Mn (around ₹102.5 Cr) in a Series A funding round led by Blume Ventures. Existing backers Stellaris Venture Partners and 3one4 Capital also participated.

Lumio makes smart TVs, projectors and speakers. It launched its first smart TV lineup in early 2025 and has since expanded its hardware portfolio to include projectors and speakers. The brand claims to have crossed ₹100 Cr in GMV within 13 months of commercial sales, more than tripling its GMV YoY for the April-August period in 2026. Lumio currently claims to serve over 35,000 households across 5,000+ pin codes.

Lumio was established in 2024 by ex-Xiaomi India CBO Raghu Reddy and ex-Flipkart executive Kailash Sankaranarayanan. It has also created an AI-powered personalised content discovery engine called TLDR, backed by multiple patent filings and available in nine Indian languages. The brand aims to leverage software as its differentiator from legacy electronics makers.

To enhance the speed and performance of its smart TVs, Lumio complements its products with high-performance SoCs for rapid app launches, ample RAM to prevent slowdowns during multitasking, and a fine-tuned network chipset for stable connectivity in variable Indian internet conditions.

Lumio plans to use the funding to invest further in its products and software, explore new categories, strengthen quality and after-sales support, and expand its retail presence so customers can see and try its products offline before making a purchase.

“This funding gives us the opportunity to invest further in our products and software, explore new categories, and strengthen quality and after-sales support as we grow,” said cofounder Raghu Reddy in a social media post.

“India’s 3-3.5 Cr affluent households are reimagining their living rooms, and no longer default to legacy brands. Raghu and Kailash have leveraged their deep experience in home entertainment and customer insights to create a compelling home entertainment brand in Lumio,” said Sajith Pai, partner, Blume Ventures.

The startup competes with established players like Samsung, LG, Sony, and Xiaomi in India’s consumer electronics market, which is estimated to grow at 6.6% CAGR over the next eight years to reach $158.4 Bn by 2034.

Prior to this, Lumio had raised a $4.3 Mn seed funding round in July 2024 from Stellaris Venture Partners, 3one4 Capital, Mamaearth’s Varun Alagh, Tracxn’s Abhishek Goyal, and other angel investors.
