Enterprise AI startup logcat.ai has raised $2.5 Mn (approximately ₹24 Cr) in a pre-seed funding round led by US-based seed stage investor Founders' Co-op. The round saw participation from Act One Ventures, TheFounderVC, Shorewind Capital, Clayoquot Capital, and Alumni Ventures.
The fresh capital will primarily go toward expanding the engineering team by hiring up to 10 specialised roles and enhancing its AI platform's capabilities, with a portion allocated to research and experimentation.
Founded in 2025 by former Esper engineers Varun Chitre and Tarun Vashisth, logcat.ai is building an AI platform that automates Android and Linux device engineering — a domain requiring deep expertise across multiple layers of an operating system.
Its flagship product, Delta, analyses system traces across Android and embedded Linux, identifies root causes of software issues, and recommends code-level fixes. The platform covers the full OS engineering lifecycle: diagnosing bugs, validating fixes, and assisting with system builds.
Headquartered in Seattle with a team that includes engineering talent from India, logcat.ai targets hardware manufacturers producing smartphones, robots, airport kiosks, and other connected devices. The company claims Delta has analysed more than 10 Bn lines of trace data and completed thousands of autonomous investigations.
After a beta programme used by roughly 400 to 500 developers, the platform has shifted focus to enterprise customers and reports it already serves a few paying customers.
