Leverage Edu Rolls Out Third ESOP Buyback for Employees
Leverage Edu has rolled out its third ESOP buyback and granted options to 100 more employees, taking equity ownership to 23% of its workforce.

Leverage Edu has rolled out its third employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) buyback programme and granted options to 100 more employees. With the latest allotment, 23% of its workforce now holds equity in the company.
The buyback lets employees sell a part of their vested options for cash. Founder and CEO Akshay Chaturvedi said in a LinkedIn post that the company is currently undertaking the buyback.
Leverage Edu completed its first ESOP buyback in June 2022 and its second in June 2024.
Leverage Edu runs a study abroad platform that helps students with university admissions, education financing and accommodation. It also operates Fly Finance, Fly Homes and Leverage Careers, and describes itself as a talent mobility platform.
More recently, it has expanded into workforce mobility through Leverage Careers, and into industry-integrated online programmes and certifications through Leverage Upskilling.
Leverage Edu’s operating revenue more than doubled to Rs 364.4 crore in FY26 from Rs 173.3 crore in FY25, and its EBITDA turned positive at Rs 2 crore during the fiscal year.
