L Catterton invests in Glance, AI shopping platform
L Catterton makes a strategic investment in Glance, the AI shopping platform, for an undisclosed amount, with US expansion in focus.

Global consumer-focused investment firm L Catterton has made a strategic investment in Glance, an AI-powered shopping platform. The amount was not disclosed.
Glance is backed by InMobi, Mithril Capital, Google and Jio Platforms.
Glance uses agentic AI to personalise product discovery and shopping across smartphones, connected TVs and other digital platforms. Its technology analyses a consumer’s interests and preferences to recommend relevant products, and to help them move from discovery to purchase.
In the US, Glance is available on millions of devices through partnerships with Samsung, Motorola and DIRECTV. Those partnerships extend its presence across both mobile phones and televisions. The company was founded by Naveen Tewari.
The deal matters because it puts a large consumer-focused investor behind a shopping product built around AI recommendations. L Catterton said its decision followed its assessment of changing consumer behaviour and the growing role of AI in shopping.
The firm plans to support Glance’s expansion, particularly in the US, using its consumer industry expertise, operating capabilities and global network.
L Catterton manages approximately $40 billion in equity capital across private equity, credit and real estate investment platforms. It was founded in 1989 and has made more than 300 investments in consumer businesses.
Scott Dahnke, global CEO of L Catterton, said:
“Agentic commerce is fundamentally changing how consumers discover and shop for products.”
