KuhlTherm, an Ahmedabad-based advanced liquid cooling startup, has raised $1.1 million in a seed funding round led by Arkam Ventures.
The fresh capital will be deployed to accelerate product development, strengthen R&D and testing infrastructure, expand engineering and business development teams, pursue industry certifications, and build strategic partnerships.
Founded in 2025 by Vishant Gandhi, Kamish Kachhadia, Shailesh Bishnoi, Jasvipul Chawla, and Kishan Baravaliya, the company develops precision liquid cooling infrastructure for high-performance computing (HPC) environments. Its product stack spans Direct-to-Chip cold plates, Rear Door Heat Exchangers, immersion cooling systems, coolant distribution units, and NexusFlow OS — a proprietary software platform for cooling intelligence.
KuhlTherm’s Direct-to-Chip technology uses a patented mesh-based cooling approach to address processor hotspots, while its modular rear-door architecture allows data centre operators to add cooling capacity incrementally as rack heat loads rise.
Why it matters
As AI workloads push rack densities beyond the limits of conventional air cooling, liquid cooling is shifting from a niche efficiency play to a prerequisite for new data centre builds.
For global hyperscalers and colocation providers evaluating India as a deployment corridor, homegrown thermal-management IP — especially patent-backed technology with retrofit-ready, modular architecture — reduces both import dependency and the cost of sustaining dense GPU clusters in high-ambient-temperature environments typical of the India–Gulf corridor.
