Kissht parent OnEMI eyes fresh fundraise, board meets Sept 17

OnEMI Technology Solutions, the parent company of digital lending platform Kissht, is considering a fresh fundraise just four months after its stock market debut in May.

The company’s board will meet on September 17 to consider raising funds through equity shares, warrants, convertible instruments, or other eligible securities. The proposed fundraise could be carried out through a preferential issue, private placement, or other permissible routes, according to a regulatory filing.

The company did not disclose the size of the proposed fundraise or the investors that may participate. The proposal will be subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals.

Digital lending at scale

The company went public in May at an issue price of Rs 171 per share, raising Rs 926 crore through a fresh issue of Rs 850 crore and an offer for sale of around Rs 76 crore by existing shareholders.

Since listing, the stock has surged over 72% to around Rs 329, putting the company’s market capitalisation at Rs 5,830 crore. On the financial front, Kissht’s operating revenue grew 45% year-on-year to Rs 670 crore in Q1 FY27, while profit rose 58% to Rs 95 crore. Its assets under management increased 61% YoY to Rs 8,001 crore during the quarter.
