Journify raises $12M Series A for US and Europe expansion

Journify has raised $12 million in a Series A funding round to expand into the US and Europe. Al Mada Ventures led the round alongside co-lead Silicon Badia.

Existing backers Shorooq and Bunat Ventures also invested, while Du Ventures and Oraseya Capital joined the round.

Journify makes software that addresses a gap between the sales data retailers collect and the data available to the algorithms that allocate their advertising budgets.

A purchase recorded in a shop or on a website may never reach the platform placing the advert, so that platform has an incomplete picture of which campaigns work.

The company connects those sales records with platforms including Meta, Google, TikTok and Snap. It checks for missing or duplicated data and sends information directly between servers, which reduces reliance on browser tracking.

Founded in 2022 by Taoufik El Jamali, Amine Chouki and Omar Al Shoubaki, Journify is headquartered in San Francisco with offices in Dubai and Riyadh. It now serves more than 100 businesses.

The pitch is that more complete sales data helps automated advertising systems make better spending decisions.

Saudi retailer Jarir Bookstore is among its customers. In a company case study, Journify said connecting Jarir’s purchase records directly to Meta increased the number of purchases captured by the advertising platform by 205%, while reported return on advertising spend rose 182%.

Those measures reflect campaign tracking and performance, rather than growth in the retailer’s total sales.

Silicon Badia partner Hossam Shafick said in the funding announcement that revenue had increased more than fivefold and the company’s valuation had more than quadrupled since his firm first backed it.

Silicon Badia led a $4 million round announced in February 2025, with Saudi Arabia’s RZM Investment among the participants.

An undisclosed investment from Shorooq, Bunat Ventures and Plug and Play followed that July to support expansion in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

The new capital will fund further development of AI tools that identify and correct problems in advertising data, alongside the overseas expansion.

Journify has also appointed Ryan Burke, a three-time chief revenue officer who previously worked with El Jamali at InVision, to its board as it prepares to enter the US market.
