Iztri raises $1.1M seed for hyper-local fabric care network

Iztri, a Bengaluru-based fabric care startup, has raised Rs 10 crore ($1.1 million) in a seed funding round led by All In Capital and Suashish Group.
The round also saw participation from prominent angel investors including Anupam Mittal, Kunal Shah, Tanmay Bhat, Gaurav Munjal, Roman Saini, Abhishek Goyal, JK Tyre family office and Shadowfax founders Abhishek Bansal and Vaibhav Khadelwal, among others. Early backer PedalStart also participated in the round.
What Iztri does
Founded in 2024 by Rohit Ramesh and Ankit Choudhary, Iztri is building a hyper-local fabric care network, starting with clothes ironing, which it says is one of the most frequent household chores in India and a category that remains largely unorganized.
The startup operates through an apartment-hub model, combining neighborhood infrastructure, a trained workforce and technology-led backend operations to standardize quality, turnaround times and the customer experience.
Iztri claims it serves more than 25,000 customers across Bengaluru, including several premium residential societies, and has created structured employment for more than 200 blue-collar workers across its hub network.

The startup trains and deploys its workforce through defined roles and processes, bringing greater structure and stability to a sector that has historically operated through informal employment.
The plan for the capital
Iztri will use the raised capital to accelerate its expansion, deepen its existing hub network and strengthen the operational and technology infrastructure required to scale.
It will also expand beyond its core ironing service into adjacent fabric care categories including dry cleaning and shoe care, with a target of serving more than 100,000 customers within the next six months.
“Fabric care is one of the most frequent services used by urban households, yet the experience remains largely unchanged from decades ago. We started Iztri with a simple belief that reliability should not be a premium - it should be the default.
Our ambition is to build the infrastructure that makes fabric care predictable, consistent and trustworthy, starting with ironing and eventually covering the broader fabric-care needs of urban India,” said Rohit Ramesh.
Over the next two to three years, the startup plans to deepen its presence across the south market before expanding into India’s top five metro cities.
