InstaAstro raises $12M Series A for AI-led astrology platform

InstaAstro has raised $12 Mn (approximately ₹114.5 Cr) in a Series A funding round led by Singularity AMC and Artha Venture Fund.

Founder Nitin Verma and Artha managing partner Anirudh Damani also participated in their personal capacities.

The startup plans to use the capital to expand across regional and international markets, strengthen its pooja seva offerings, and grow its product business.

A significant portion will fund AI-led product development, including sentiment analysis to help astrologers offer more contextual consultations and expanded multilingual support to improve consultation quality across languages.

What InstaAstro does

Founded in 2021 by Nitin Verma, InstaAstro connects users with verified experts across astrology, tarot, numerology, kundali, vastu, and other disciplines. The platform also offers pooja seva, astrology courses, and products such as gemstones and accessories.

The startup claims 12 Mn registered users and over 5,000 verified experts across 183 countries. International markets, driven largely by the Indian diaspora, contribute approximately 25% of its revenue. Within India, the user base in Tier II and III cities is growing the fastest as astrology and religious services increasingly move online.

India's faith commerce and digital astrology ecosystem is expected to become a $1.8 Bn opportunity by 2030, with over 1,400 startups operating in the broader spiritual tech ecosystem. Astrotalk joined the unicorn club earlier this month.
