Indian SpaceTech Startup Omspace Raises $3M Funding for ‘Infinity One’ Prototype

Omspace Rocket & Exploration Private Limited, an Ahmedabad-headquartered spacetech startup incubated at EDII’s CrAdLE, has secured $3 million in pre-seed funding.
The round was led by a family office and an angel investor. Founded in 2020 by Dr. Ravindra Raj Binod Mistri, Maulik Mota, and Stutika Padamshali, Omspace aims to democratize access to space with its flagship launch system, Infinity One.
Infinity One is designed to deliver payloads up to 350 kg to altitudes of 800 km, with a focus on fuel efficiency and cost-effectiveness, addressing the growing demand for reliable and affordable launch solutions in India’s expanding spacetech sector.
The newly raised capital will be used to finalise the Infinity One prototype, initiate test launches, expand the R&D team, hire specialised talent, and enhance manufacturing and ground infrastructure.

Co-founder Dr. Mistry called the funding “a major milestone” and credited CrAdLE and EDII for their supportive ecosystem and mentorship.
Dr. Satya Ranjan Acharya, Director of CrAdLE, said Omspace exemplifies indigenous innovation and could cement India’s position in global space-tech.
To date, CrAdLE has supported 135 startups across sectors like manufacturing, food, renewable energy, and healthcare, illustrating its impact as a technology innovation hub.
