HomeRun raises $12M Series A+ for construction quick commerce

HomeRun, a Bengaluru-based quick commerce platform for construction and interior materials, has raised $12 million in a Series A+ funding round led by Nexus Venture Partners. Existing investors Sorin Investments, Titan Capital, Sparrow Capital, and Consumer Collective by Atrium participated. The company did not disclose its valuation.

The round comes months after the startup raised $6 million earlier this year and will be used to expand into new cities and strengthen supply chain, technology, and category operations.

Building materials, delivered in 60 minutes

Founded by Pukhraj Grewal, HomeRun delivers construction and interior materials to contractors and homeowners at competitive prices within 60 minutes. The platform targets persistent inefficiencies in the sector: unreliable supply, opaque pricing, last-minute shortages, and the labour downtime those shortages cause across new construction, renovation, and repair sites.

For a global partner or investor looking at India, HomeRun sits at the intersection of two large, tested tailwinds — quick commerce adoption and the formalisation of a fragmented building-materials supply chain that has largely escaped digitisation so far.

Nexus Venture Partners' Anand Datta framed the thesis directly: "Building materials and local hardware is one such supply chain that has largely skipped digitization." The firm's bet, he said, centres on formalising supply chains while preserving the proximity advantage of small-format local merchants.

Pukhraj Grewal, Founder and CEO, said, "Building material procurement in India has remained fragmented and inefficient for far too long. At HomeRun, we're making it as reliable, transparent and fast as any modern commerce experience. The strong customer response reinforces the scale of this opportunity. With Nexus joining us, we're excited to expand into new cities and build the country's most trusted platform for building materials."

Sorin Investments' Subeer Monga added that the category "rewards operational depth over capital" and noted that the company has scaled sharply while maintaining strong unit economics and growing without offering credit — a signal on the quality of demand and execution discipline.
