Holiday Tribe in Talks to Raise Around ₹50 Cr

Traveltech startup Holiday Tribe is in talks to raise around ₹50 Cr (about $5.2 Mn) in a fresh funding round. RPSG Capital Ventures is among the prospective investors.

The round is not finalised, and its size and investor participation could change as discussions progress. How Holiday Tribe would deploy the new capital is not yet known.

Holiday Tribe previously raised ₹25 Cr in a pre-Series A round in August 2025, comprising equity and debt. Powerhouse Ventures led that round, with participation from GSF and undisclosed angel investors. Before that, the startup raised ₹5.4 Cr in seed funding in 2024.

Founded in 2022 by Anshu Sharma and Chirag Goyal, both former MakeMyTrip executives, Holiday Tribe offers customised holiday packages for family holidays, honeymoons, luxury trips and group travel.

The company combines AI-powered planning with travel experts who provide itinerary recommendations, bookings and support. Its planning tool is called Avni, and customers can also seek customised quotes through its travel advisors. The platform lists domestic and international destinations, including Kerala, Bali, Dubai, Japan, Vietnam and several European markets.

RPSG Capital Ventures is part of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group. It is an early-stage consumer investment firm focused on food and beverages, personal care, and lifestyle goods and services.

The talks come amid investments in startups that build customised holiday planning and booking services. In July, Gurugram-based 30 Sundays raised ₹61 Cr in a Series A round led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with Info Edge Ventures and Eximius Ventures participating.

Earlier this month, TravClan raised $5 Mn through a mix of equity and debt. Flipkart and August One invested in equity, and Trifecta Capital provided the debt. The partnership is intended to help Cleartrip and Flipkart Travel expand their curated international holiday packages and on-ground support.
